Air Fryers a Security Risk?

Who knew your cookware would start spying on you? Well, not really the cookware....but the apps many vendors use to connect to their wares is a serious issue. When you give that app permission to do things such as record audio it means IT IS GOING TO LISTEN TO YOU.

Why would your cooking appliances need to record the audio from your phone? Advertising of course. And it is more prevalent that you may think. It is no coincidence that a few hours after having a conversation about your budding interest in ancient Japanese whiskey's that Face Book inundates you with ads for whiskey.

Be careful about the permissions you grant apps. Better yet maybe skip the internet connected shower head.
